Hey, my name is Winston! I'm a 3-year-old pitbull mix, and I've been at the shelter for 28 days waiting for my forever family. I'm a very loving boy with a huge heart and lots of love to give. I love to play, run around, and have fun with all my friends here at the shelter. I've played with multiple other dogs and enjoy every second of it! I'm always ready for some excitement and fun, but once I've burned off all my energy, I'm more than happy to settle down for cuddles, attention, and quality time with my people. I'm looking for a forever home that will love me for who I am and let me be the adorable, goofy, and funny boy I was meant to be. Canine Adult adoption fee (canines over six months of age): $120*

Canine Puppy adoption fee (canines under six months of age): $150*

Canine Specialty Breeds adoption fee: $200-$400

All Feline adoption fee: $80 $60* thanks to a generous sponsorship from Animal Hospital of Nicholasville

Feline Specialty adoption fee: $100-$300*

*Our adoption fee includes the animals spay/neuter surgery, a rabies vaccination, FVRCP (for felines), FIV/FELV test (for felines), Jessamine County license (for canines if the adopter lives within Jessamine County), DAPPV vaccine (for canines), deworming, flea and tick treatment, fecal and heartworm exam, and a voucher for a free health exam by a partnered Nicholasville veterinarian (ask a staff member for details).

We cannot guarantee the health of our animals’ past adoption and recommend a visit to your veterinarian within seven days of taking your pet home. By signing below, you are accepting full responsibility for the animal’s medical needs past this point. When adopting from JCACC, we expect you to make a lifetime commitment to the care of the animal. If you ever find yourself unable to properly care for the animal, you agree by signing below that you will return the animal to our facility instead of rehoming it. Please note that we have the right to refuse an adoption for any reason.
