Adoption Information

All dogs, puppies, cats and kittens available for adoption come to us in a variety of ways, but they all have one thing in common: they need loving and permanent homes.

All potential adopters must complete an adoption application so we may determine if the animal you wish to adopt is a good fit for your family. Please click here to fill out an application online, or you may visit our shelter during adoption hours to fill out and submit an application in person.

Canine

$120 ADOPTION FEE for dogs over six months and $150 ADOPTION FEE for puppies under six months includes spay/neuter, microchip, canine license, rabies vaccination, a voucher for a free health exam, bordetella & distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming treatment, heartworm test, fecal exam and flea & tick treatment.

Feline

$60 ADOPTION FEE for cats and kittens includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, and a voucher for a free health exam, FVRCP vaccination, flea treatment, deworming treatment, fecal exam and FIV/FELV test.

All canines and felines have their health strictly monitored while in the care of the animal shelter staff. However, due to the stressful situations under which many of these animals arrive, there is always a chance an animal is incubating a disease without showing clinical signs or symptoms. We recommend a visit to your veterinarian within seven (7) days of the adoption date.
