Canine Adult adoption fee (canines over six months of age): $120*

Canine Puppy adoption fee (canines under six months of age): $150*

Canine Specialty Breeds adoption fee: $200-$400

All Feline adoption fee: $80 $60* thanks to a generous sponsorship from Animal Hospital of Nicholasville

Feline Specialty adoption fee: $100-$300*

*Our adoption fee includes the animals spay/neuter surgery, a rabies vaccination, FVRCP (for felines), FIV/FELV test (for felines), Jessamine County license (for canines if the adopter lives within Jessamine County), DAPPV vaccine (for canines), deworming, flea and tick treatment, fecal and heartworm exam, and a voucher for a free health exam by a partnered Nicholasville veterinarian (ask a staff member for details).

We cannot guarantee the health of our animals’ past adoption and recommend a visit to your veterinarian within seven days of taking your pet home. By signing below, you are accepting full responsibility for the animal’s medical needs past this point. When adopting from JCACC, we expect you to make a lifetime commitment to the care of the animal. If you ever find yourself unable to properly care for the animal, you agree by signing below that you will return the animal to our facility instead of rehoming it. Please note that we have the right to refuse an adoption for any reason. By signing below, you agree that the information provided on this questionnaire is correct to the best of your knowledge and that you have read and agree to all statements above. Anyone who misleads or fails to provide accurate information will be denied all future adoptions.
