Grooming Services
Our academy-trained Dog Groomer & Vet Technicians have over 800 hours of hands-on grooming instruction that includes nail trimming and ear cleaning. We offer these services to community as walk-in services.
GROOMING SERVICES
Ear Cleaning
$10
- (Routine cleaning of your pet’s ears is a simple way to help prevent painful and costly ear infections and/or ear problems like ear mites)
Nail Trimming
$10
- (Nails that are too long are at risk of being torn off, such as if your animal’s nail gets caught on a piece of carpeting or furniture. This can result in an injury that might require veterinary care if it’s serious enough. The longer an animal’s nails also make it harder for them to walk around comfortably)

Vaccination Requirements
The health and well-being of our Guests is of the utmost importance to us at Jessamine County Animal Care and Control. The following vaccinations are required prior to admittance for any and all services provided at Jessamine County Animal Care and Control:
Rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza), Bordetella
Any exceptions to vaccinations (i.e. puppies) must have a release form from a veterinarian.
